Since its founding in 2011, IVKMG e.V. has been passionately and forward-thinkingly committed to building an open, diverse, and supportive society. Based in Cottbus, we see ourselves as a bridge between cultures, languages, and life worlds – a space for encounters, learning, and co-creation.

Our Goals

At the heart of our work is the promotion of intercultural dialogue and societal participation. We are dedicated to ensuring that people of different backgrounds, beliefs, and nationalities come into conversation, learn from each other, and shape the future together.

We place particular emphasis on supporting people with a migration background – whether in their initial arrival, everyday orientation, or on the path to full participation in social, cultural, and economic life in Germany.

At the same time, our commitment extends beyond national borders. IVKMG e.V. supports multinational projects in education, culture, sports, economy, science, environment, charity, and the arts – both in Germany and internationally.
